The Espionage Probe is the only espionage craft. This ship is very likely to be destroyed in any conflicts. Their cargo can only be used to store in flight deuterium, unless the server has the espionage probe storage active. They use the Combustion Drive so they go faster for every improvement of it.

- Planetary defenses do not have rapid fire against probes, so probes can be used as fodder if no enemy fleet is present.
- They are the fastest ship in the game.
