The Large Cargo Ship is one of the most used ships in OGame, along with Battle Ships, Light Fighters, and Recyclers.
The large cargo capacity of 25,000 makes it essential for raiding efficiency.
Evaluation
Uses and Advantages
Compared to the Small Cargo Ship, the Large Cargo has five times the cargo capacity for only three times the cost, and is faster than a Combustion Drive powered small cargo ship at 10 per 5,000 resources to 20 for the Small Cargo
Shortcomings
Although it's popular, it does have a few drawbacks. The large cargo ship is slower than an Impulse Drive-enhanced Small Cargo Ship, and has a higher fuel consumption. However the deuterium cost per resource capacity is lower than the Small Cargo.
