Helpful. What does it actually do? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 21:16, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- As is says on the second line in the article, it is used to buy Commander and Officers. It is also used for buying Merchants. -TheDwoo 19:03, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Right, I'm going to be a bit more detailed:
- "The matter can be bought as usual" - what's usual?
- "for what you use your dark matter is your own choice." - The way this is phrased suggests you don't get a choice when using other methods, also said other methods are not explained, even briefly.
- "Additionally with dark matter you aren't bound to any subscription." - As you are with what?
- "6. For which time periods can i activate my officers or commanders with dark matter? - You can activate them for time periods starting from 1 week (much more flexibility)" - Does this mean you have a weeks worth of whatever you buy with them, these commanders and officers (I don't know what they are or what they do)? if so, it's really poorly phrased.
- If these questions are answered, I'm willing to make the necessary edits to clarify the article myself. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 19:03, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
It should be noted that you receive this as soon as a fleet explores Outer Space, not when it returns. You obtain the dark matter before the fleet returns. Nilator 23:30, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Buying Fields[]
Hi, I noticed that we are also able to expand the planet by buying fields. However, when I look at the pricing, I see:
+15 fields = 300k DM
+9 fields = 150k DM
+4 fields = 75k DM
So wouldn't it just make sense to buy 2 +9 fields instead of the +15???
